Now i know why i play ukulele .............. i hate that F chord on guitar ........... i have trouble barring it and i haven`t mastered getting there quick enough yet to play it the other way ........... i will persevere when my fingers stop throbbing from the steel strings ........
ok ..... i have finished moaning .... as you were
Edited to fix smiley icon from :cool to Jandle
rickyjack ....................... awesome, loved it, vocals were great and i adore that harmonica!
Grah1 ...........fantastic! love the flute and mandolin in the mix with it
Roger Guppy .............. lol ............ your name will be in the hat along with the rest of the names entered here ................ hmmm I wonder what song you will pick
toptown .... haha love the pickles But yeah, it isn`t really a competition of who is the best, more a matter of everyone having ago at the covers
rickyjack ....... enjoy that blue pickle
Edited to change the word "a" to "at" (Jandle)
johnk ....... I am left handed and play guitar and ukulele, but with guitars it is harder to just alter the strings because of exactly what you said, the bridge. My advice would be go online buy a good condition 2nd hand guitar for her to learn on and if she really likes it, then buy her a good left hand guitar. If she doesn`t like it, then re-sell the 2nd hand one you brought her
mekidsmom ........... hey you cant be perfect all the time
This month is a `Revival` of a song by Creedence Clear Water Survival
Roger Guppy - your not the only person that pre-recorded the song ~Knockin On Heavens Door~ and it wasn`t me either , another member sent it to me during June because they liked it It is a great song I agree So, when we have a Suggested FSOM, that song requests are put in by members, enter that song again
Actually that goes for anyone, if your song didn`t get chosen this time, enter it again, when its a Suggested FSOM for songs (not to be confused with Suggested FSOM for August which is entering your name to pick that months song
Wow, some excellent songs chosen everyone get ready to find out very shortly drum roll........................
Phill, really good, why change what sounds good already?
unclejoesband - good luck with the RC 30 Boss ... I am really keen to see how you get on with it. I got one last year in October exactly the same as the one you have and I still can`t work the thing! I have watched tutorials on You Tube but still not able to work it the way i know it is meant to work. I walked away from it out of frustration! I know i need to get the instruction booklet out (again) and try again. Don`t think i am wired to read up on stuff like this though, to impatient! I am much more of a visual person when learning new stuff and unfortunately i think this is one i am just going to have to read up on.
Keen to see how you go with it ..... your probably have more patience than me.
Looking forward to hearing this one Phill.
zengalileo ......... i like the sound of this song .......... is there any where we can listen to it?
Russell ...... fantastic in every way ...... a real talent!
Anymore attempts at this song by anyone before next months Featured song?
I really enjoyed listening to this Russell, you are very talented. I thought it sounded a little bit like some Neil Young music too, who i am a fan of
Awwww that was adorable! I wish we got squirrels here in NZ, they are so cute!
arkady .......beautiful, peaceful, tranquil, relaxing musically and visually....really good
Phill.......really good, voice once again, , lyrics are great, made me feel a bit sad.
clever piece of song writing ......... well done.
rickyjack......yep we can look at this, a good idea, mixes it up As long as we end up doing the same song it could be fun. Could be a good way to make it more interesting doing something like this from time to time
rickyjack ........... excellent, great cover, great to hear the vocals in this version
Anyone else want to suggest a song for July before we decide one? Some great choices so far
Peatle ............ thanks, i think the ukulele makes it a little bit different
Zurf .............. thanks so much
