Most of the YT vids for it are ok, but heck they are so cheep, even a new one (RP255) is only 150 bucks,, I paid that for my 250 yrs ago.
another + with the 250 /55 you can go to the website and download a zip of hundreds of sound patches other people have already made and you download them in a zip file.
As I was sorta saying in the other post. The cool thing is that you can if you want to, just plug in your guitar and it has the headphone jack and a input jack for external players. With the cabnet /amp simulators it has a huge sound!
I took the liberty of finding you some examples of the 250 /55/1000.

I've knocked on every door in my neighborhood. I've been inside probably about a third of the homes. Our neighborhood (residential zone) is between a library (commercial zone) and a hospital (commercial zone) so we have special case things come up with the town from time to time. When these affect our neighborhood, my wife and I bring it to the attention of our neighbors so we can act in concert. If you want to get to know your neighbors, go meet them. All the dog walkers know one another pretty well. Also, I sit on a porch swing on a frame out in our front yard and pick guitar. Folks come by and chat. It's great. As a result, we frequently have informal get togethers on the spur of the moment. Just Sunday we had a Cinco de Mayo party with fifteen folks at the house that no one even thought to do it until 2:00. By 5:00, we had dinner, drinks, games, and folks dropping in. Everyone pitched in some and so no one had any burden. Good stuff.

Z,
I have not gone knocking on doors, but i keep an eye out for anything strange. I walk up and introducemyself to people I see in their yards and I do know most teh people on my side street and the other end of the block.
Has anyone heard of the study on why neighbors do not know each other well anymore? It boils down to two words AIR CONDITIONING In the days befor it, everyone sat out in their yards because the house was hotter. you would talk back and forth from yard to yard and everyones kids played together. Not so much anymore. What! its 100 out there, im staying right here in my cool 68 degree room in my lazy boy!
Ill admit in the summer in TX for the past few yrs with 102+ temps,, we dont go out till after dusk! LOLOL
Any of the RP's by Digitech have a input for a mp3 or cd player. you dont even need an amp if you want to just use headphones. you can pick up used ones pretty cheep. just make sure you geta teh power supply with them. if money is no worry, then lookinto at least a RP255 or get more bellsand whistles and go for the 1000. just go to the digitech website and see all the candy.
Pm me for more info. I have a RP250, and still after 6 yrs have not found all its features! LOLOL Where in WNC are you? I lived in Asheville from 15 to 22. Dad had a church in Fletcher. and i chanced into Boone a few times LOLOL.

U had very large portions in Texas, looked @ the dance hall report also.
You have a really different culture to us.
I bet I would say the same if I was In your country. Check out more of the reporter clips. Like the motorcycle hotel.
While I didnt have a case of GAS like Naolslager, I did have a case of Peace, Love, Motorcycle, and Chicken Fried Steak!
My son and I went for a ride out to the #1 place to get it. Marys Cafe in Strawn Tx. (we did have GAS after we left though
This is the coolest place and very laid back. Here is the Texas Country reporter on them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfGXlKtxjIA

Zurf wrote:I couldn't understand a word with so much reverb in the vocals. I saw a stuffed frog and a little girl without the guitar player playing the guitar. What lead to that?
Zurf, lolol even with my hearing I understood most of it,,
the adults in the audience were fighting around the little girl. watch close to Pinks eyes as she is singing, she sees the little girl crying. Stops the show and gives her a stuffed front and a rice crispy treat. Told her she looked pretty and told the so called adults to chill out. I looked at 5 different post of this and the one I put up is by far the best quality.
That was cool. I dont know who Michale Buble is,,(um yea i dont watch the X factor I had to look him up) but what a class act thing to do. The mom was pretty ballsy to do what she did, and Im surprised security didnt remove her b4 she was able to get her son up there. Its pretty clear Mr Buble didnt think the kid was going to be able to sing. (Z, Im pretty sure a 15 yr old kid has said more than that with his friends).
If you have never seen this clip, its well worth it. Pink is truely a star and a good down toearth person. just watch this concert clip.

If country roads is his best closet punk song I have always said THE EAGLE AND THE HAWK is his METAL song \M/ \M/ !! (Saw him twice as a kid, Man what a great stage act he was!)
joeyjoeyjoey wrote:Stephen Stills tried out for the Monkees and didn`t make it. He told his friend Peter Tork about it. You know the rest.
Actually they asked Stephen if he knew anyone that looked like him, music ability not a must, but had better teeth!
!!
Well I was a huge monkeys fan as a kid with the re- runs. but as to the musicians part:
Mike and Peter were the only ones who know how to play. Micky started learning the drums after joining. he is pretty deacent nowdays. Davy was hired mainly for his poster boy looks, but it helped that he could sing.
The only reason Mike and Peter got any songs on the first 3 records was cause they fought for them. (they knew about publishing royalities) so Kirshner let Nesmith put 2 songs on and peter one. ( Mikes songs actually were some of my favorite! Listen to the band, You just may be the one, sunny girlfriend, and Sweet young thing!-heavy for the times!)
the shows writers and music producer (Kirshner) ran everything. They hired the best songwriters and studio musicians they had. Yes he had Neil Diamond, but also carol King and Neil Sadaka. The majority of the songs were written by Tommy Boyce and Bobby Heart.
here is the history for ya, gotta love VH1- this is part one, just follow the links for the rest- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDrxFJFScAM
just so you can get your fixes check these links out (first 3 whole records) :

Mr. Tech,
Welcome, GAS stands for Guitar Acquisition Syndrome.
AS your new, Ill say that you should give an introduction of yourself in the general forums this is a great place and if you hang out and share, it just gets better.
krundersho wrote:Thank you for the help. I have been able to get the first few measures and I'm kinda taking it from there. Just struggling and was hoping somebody could hand feed me. LOL I'll keep working on it. I posted a message on Facebook to Dave Meneketti but I figured that was a long shot also.
Thank you again.
No problem, this is what the sites about. Join in more often on general topics, and let ppl get to know you. Once they figure out your not a fly by night or a spammer, you will have all the help you can ask for,, sometimes you have to be a bit thick skinned cause at times there is a certain amout of sarcasm
Good luck. (You sure you couldnt find something else she likes thats more available? LOLOL
Man thats a tough one,,,old school glam metal . Im the resident metal head around here for the most part,,(don't think many would argue
) but I don't know where to find that one in tab or chords. I think I would find a buddy who has a good ear, and figure out how to fake it. They were not one of my often listened to bands. Other than summertime girls,,
this vid shows most of the chords. you cant see guitar 1 but you may get close. Sounds like a D run to me,, and the power chords gtr 2 is holdig. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGOD12p4uZ0 and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MN1m-i9QWV8 I am also going to take a wild guess that they have transposed it down an octive cause he probably cant hit the high notes any more. (it happens)
I am hoping that the new CD is going to be KICK BUTT. I have always been a Sabbath fan. Ozzy days most, but I love the DIO era and have Dehumanizer with Dio also.
Ozzy is actually looking pretty good these days. I think you have done the right thing, I dont konw if I will be able to see them here in the states, but at least I have seen Ozzy live. What a great showman!
So for thoes of us who can not be there rock a little for us too! \m/ \m/
