I have it recording audio and video the way I like it no need to ask,I did have to purchase a video editing program to process greenscreen videos so I got Pinacles HD video software its going to be delivered to the store I can pick it up next week the cost was $94.00 with tax might as well get the most bang for my budget, hey they even throw in a 6x5 green screen(whoopee) I already have a wall but I may find a use. ![]()

A little joy and dissapointment the webcam came I hooked it up the video is great but the audio sucks for recording so I did what Pete had to do I hooked up my sm58 to my pa and fed it direct to my Br8 and out to the mic input and designate the line in mic as the default it sounds fantastic just one complaint i will contact Logictec about there is no greenscreen mask or application and that was a big reason I purchased it so for now its bitter sweet ![]()

if your looking to save a printed copy to a flash drive (stick) I think you have to copy the page and paste it into your word processing program and then you can save it to an external drivel, thats what I do but some other member may have better advice give it a few hours ![]()

Re: new usb mic. (12 replies, posted in Recording)
You could try clicking on the little speaker tab on the bottom right of your desktop and open the mixer and see if the mic is on the list if it is the volume may have to be adjusted, other then that open your control panel and see if its listed in devices if it is you may have to designate it as the default microphone. ![]()

dino I rarely watch preseason games they are not a true indicator of a teams ability the pack usually sucks at preseason I would wait till the season starts they play with a different intensity and use all there starters.but I did watch a few minutes and one thing is clear they need a solid running back and if I were the manager I would insists they go out and buy or steal one ![]()

Re: Songs to Practice Barre Chord Changes? (27 replies, posted in Acoustic)
You can write your own exercise with a sheet of paper, draw 5 vertical lines spaced even distance left to right these are bars, make four slash lines in each bar these represent beats and on top choose a chord.
C Bm D G F#m B G
|//// |////| //// | //// |: the first and second bars are two beats on each chord the 3rd bar is 4 beats and the last 2 beats on each chord the double dots mean repeat the exercise you can make any chords you like I would pick the hardest ones your having trouble with and work on them.:)

Ken I'm still waiting for them to ship it,I ordered it on the 5th and a strange thing happened when I clicked the "buy" it gave the price at $79.99 and said I qualified for free shipping and asked me if i wanted to apply my $9.20 discount I clicked yes so the total should have been $70.79 but when I was taken to the next page it showed the invoice as $79.99+$9.29 for shipping and handling minus the $9.20 discount which totaled $80.20 this didnt set well with me so I contacted them by phone and explained what happened the nice lady checked the online order and agreed with me so the ammended total came to $70.20 fine and dandy but I checked the shipping date today and it said "shippiing soon" I know it will get here eventually but I shouldnt have had to call and corrrect the order but hey $10.00 buys me two sets of strings so I will get started on video taping as soon as the camera arrives I have selected another song to do also its a great song "Fire on the Mountain" which gives me an opportunity to show off some pickin and use my effects and being the showoff I am "what the hell" ![]()

Sounds like good advice Pete and the model I purchased logictech C920 is like yours only smaller and more resolution kind of an upgrade, after seeing some of your videos I couldnt see how they could get a better picture then what you have but I looked at a few side by side comparisons the sharpness is equal but theres a subtle shift in the color spectrum that i liked better
Just let loose, Russell and get the things that will give you enjoyment. Go man.

hi phill yes I do have time I am working on a new arrangement of an old song from the mid 50ths called Corrina Corrina I am giving it a new twist I slowed it down and changed the feeling it sounds more like a reggae feel totally different then the original and as soon as my new webcam arrives I will produce a video with both HD cameras,I am scripting a storyblock for the background and camera angles I do have some professional lighting thats on loan from one of my new students as soon as i finish I will get back to work on another original I'll let you knowl more about it when I get finished with the present project hope all is well with you its been a while since we video chatted if you can get a Facebook page they have video chat its easier then google chat talk soon buddy ![]()

I could not help myself after watching a few demos and reading all the reviews I just ordered a Logitech pro C920 unbelievable to fork over $80 for a webcam but I may as well enjoy my life and spend my money on electronic goodies and music this unit dose not need any software it is contained in the camera and can perform chroma key editing for greenscreen videos,I am really looking forward to recording with it I still can use my new Fugi HD for location shots or even film with both at the same time from differnt angles should be fun ![]()

Re: New PC and HD video cam day (22 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
I got lucky and opened my TrakAx program and experimented with running my Boss BR-8 into the headphone jack on my new laptop I played a disk that was already mixed down and was able to record direct into the program it rendered it to a mp4 audio now I can go direct from my recorder to the laptop I just mute the internal mic and speakers and use a headset it recorded beautiful and saved it where I can find it when needed, this is good to know because I have my guitar, bass, keyboard SM 58 mic and a Boss DR.Rhythm going into a micro mixer tha plugs along with my guitar effects into the Boss loop station and then into a 4 channel pa head which has rca outs to my BR-8 so anything I want to create channels directly into my laptop program.I worked on setting up lighting and backdrops for videotaping I have in addition to the greenscreen a black felt sheet this will give me some other options along with location shooting so i am all set the Fugi HD cam has a ten second timer for vids so theres lots of time to get into position before it stars recording but the one feature I miss that my Kodak has is the ability to edit the video in the camera before downloading to the PC there is a program that came with the camera its an editing program but I have not figured out how to edit the time I stop playing and turn the recording off this is important so Im gonna have to figure it out. ![]()
