I was told that it was his dad so I do not know all the facts, just what I read. They may have had more than one lead singer. If I am wrong someone told me the wrong facts,no big thing. whoops I just googled it and found out it was a viral urban legend.

I'm never going to get excited about pre-season, but the 'Hawks looked like they were in mid-season form.  If that little taste of Percy Harvin was any indicator, they'll have an offense that can match their defense.  And they'll need that in the NFC West, where everyone plays tough D.

A real bummer about Sam Bradford down in St. Louis, though.  He blew up his ACL again and is gone for the season.  I heard the Packers lost a couple of starting interior linemen on both sides of the ball, too.

The pack lost BJ Ragi for the season he will be missed but with two weeks left they will find a solid replacement hopefully before the Seahawks game which is gonna be hard hitting on both sides

That's too bad Russell,I saw that Cam Newton will be out for Carolina.I am not sure for how long.

I enjoy watching the new players on the teams. My 49ers got beat bad in both there pre season games, but the coach is playing almost all new players and does not seem concerned about winning he has been watching the new players very close. Russ that's true,I am glad too see I will be able too watch More Packers games this year!!

Thats got too be painfull russ.my only stepdad beat me up a couple of times,I left when I was 17 and about a year later I went back too visit he started too give me some lip and I floored him with two punches.

Good on ya! a similar thing happend when i was 18 I came home and my step father was beating up my mom I jumped in and he pulled a knife but i was faster then I am now I hit him once and he didn't get up the cops came and he was taken to the hospital I told him before he left something to the effect his life was in mortal danger if i seen him again and i meant it he left for California my mom said to me "good riddance" life sure can throw some curves at you every now and then.

I hear you russ, when I left I went too work in construction and gained some weight and a lot more muscle. My mom never knew he beat me up when I was younger so I told her about it then. Lucky he never hit my mom.

All good - its basically the same song....12 bar blues in A yeah?  What chords do you use to play it?  7th chords or a shuffle?

I use the Cream version that we have here on chordie so you can pull it up from there, 7th choards  e7,b7 and a7. take a look at the song. You should check out Todays Friday blues post by badeye He posted Mississippi john hurt and You can learn a lot about fingerpicking from him I did. I do Crossroads about the speed he is but you can go slower or faster. Most of credence is pretty easy,Born on a bayou is another good one too start.
