I think it could be :
they are holding out for more money !
their fingers are so sore from strumming that they cant touch the keyboard to load pics
they are so full from Amy's good cooking they can't move
they are all in JJJ's car riding around Oneida - having to much fun to check in
they built a bon fire bigger than last year and set central NY on fire - they are in jail, but used their one phone call to order pizza
they have drank a few too many drinks - forgot about us
or.....
they said - heck if they didn't come, they don't get to see or hear the fun!
I took the performance that Phill Did of my song Simple As and put together a youtube video of it.
If you want to give it a view - here is the link

Were you at Nassau Collesium in the late 1980's when the Dead played in Long Island. I was there - it was awesome.
I was staying in a hotel about two blocks away - they locked the doors because all the " dead heads ' infiltrated and took all the TP out of the lavs
Inside the Collesium, the "smoke" was so thick - people in the shit nose bleed seats probably couldn't even see Jerry and the band by mid-concert.
Great times , Great friggin times !!
BGD
That is freaking great !
Your skill level is way above my pay grade.
That was fantastic.
Did the mic blow out ? Great recovery without missing a beat.
I wish I could do that- looks like soooo much fun!
Jim
Wow, just wow!!!
If there was an emoji on here jealous, I'd use it here
Very talented. Very emotional link to his performances. You can so tell how much the music meant to him - that's my kind of performer!
Thanks again peatle
Peatle
Great story. So sad he died.
This song by him and Australian Paul Kelly is beautiful, and ironically the line
" was blind, but now can see" comes to fruition for Gurrumal ![]()
It is such a beautiful rendition !

Sonny Terry's voice is spectacular - so deep and soothing... the perfect match to the Harp and pitch of Brownie voicing.
Thanks for sharing

Garrison is one of my faves. My kids used to make fun of me because I used to watch Prairie Home Companion.
There is a ton of great music hidden in that hilarious song.
Thanks for sharing. Since its raining here all day- I'll probably look up more PHC videos on youtube.
TF
Pretty funny stuff. Love the dialect, I had to listen really carefully to catch everything... a few words I had to look up
!
Thanks for the morning smile.

This is from my last post in Peatle's thread - injecting humour - I'm sure it will help in your playlist and set performances! ![]()

and this one is hilarious and may also work for the other thread about what songs to play in a set ![]()
Beamer- nice job man, guitar sounds fabulous......... this is one ridiculously difficult song to play and sing -well done my friend!
Joe - superb performance - sounded exactly like Harry in many ways.
Thanks for sharing boys --- great song, and terrific covers.

Peatle- another GREAT THREAD !!
Thanks man - I think this is gonna be a good one!!
Jim
TF Thanks
The song is The Weight by the band one that I have in my songbook ![]()
I just tried it - the verses would fit that that chord progression - but not the chorus, at least I couldn't figure it out that way.
Thanks for the comment , I like this song a lot.
Jim
Phill
I changed the B chord to a Cadd9 chord - gives it a smoother and even harmonic sound.
It's also a lot easier for me to play ![]()
Jim
Zappa was an excellent musician and performer. I have every one of his albums.
Some really funny stuff in his stories / songs. ( some sick sh** too !
)
I love Zappa - listened to him a lot in my younger days.
Jim
p.s. If you go where the huskies go, don't you eat that yellow snow !!

I don't get it.
What possesses these people to spend their time writing this spam junk ?
No one reads them - they are just freaking annoying.
Does anyone really know why they do it? Do they try to access your computer through them ? I have no clue ?
I looked at Chordie forum today and there was a bunch of them. Thank you to the mods that trash them !
