I think you could do his songs good.do you check out badeyes Friday's blues post it is has around 750 posts on it. If you are looking for rock you might be close too the Rascals  (or Young rascals) Felix cavillari ( Good Loving, ) check out there youtube. I like the Beatles but mostly George Harrison. I think my favorite singers/songwriter is Van Morrison, Power Voice! not anyone I have seen can do him!

Hard too look and sound like the Beatles! I went too your website you have some good tunes there. Badeye recently posted some youtube  videos of Elvin Bishop,I think you could do his songs well. Travling shoes, Fooled around and fell in love, etc. just my opinion. Ya they are from the 70's but kinda blues/rock. Guys got some wild lookin eye's.

I like the lyrics, and I hope you and the wife will have many more years with each other. This song is not a sad one but it seems it would be played somewhat like Tell Laura I love her.

So cool all that talent on one stage, thanks badeye.

You can go either way with it tig, blues and country seem too almost always have some kind of pain or hurt in them.

Nela you might want too do some of the group America as they use 12 strings on most all their songs. Tin man, ventura highway horse with no name etc. Led Zepplin uses a lot of 12 string and the Eagles did a lot of songs with 12 strings.

I played it in blues tempo and it sounds good tig, lyrics are blues and as Russell says it could also be country.
