Looks like you guys had fun.  Wish I could be there.  A great video, too.

Sorry to hear it, selso.  I have also been there.  In my case it caused me to pick up my guitar again after a lengthy time away from it.  It's good advice to take a break from it for awhile.  And, you now have the stuff for many country songs in your head.  Do as they said, take notes.  Time will heal you and you will be back to it before too long.  Good luck.

Damn, badeye.  That is an oldie.  I have always liked it by the Rooftop Singers, but that is just down right good.  Here is an old Simon and Garfunkel.

You are probably having other issues in your life which are over riding your desire to play guitar.  It happens to all of us from time to time.  Look at other parts of your life and try to become more comfortable with some of them, if there are other problems you are facing.  It is truely a mind thing.  It will come back.  Just keep playing.  Good luck, selso.

I've seen him before and I am amazed every time.

I have mixed feelings on this.  I suppose it all depends on where I am taking it to play.  But, I would probably take the expensive good sounding guitar to almost any event, but I would also worry that someone will drop it or knock it against a wall by accident.  That's life.  I generally take the expensive one and the less desirable one with me and start out p[laying the good one.  If I see it is getting a little rowdy, I put the good one away and bring out the less expensive one.  No garauntees either way.

I think for most beginner players they go for the good looking shiny guitars, but this goes away as they gain experience.  My Fender accoustic is the prettier of my two guitars.  I bought my Martin in 2009 and it is very palin looking, but it sounds wonderful compared to the Fender.  My next one is going to be a Martin HD-28 sunburst, so I go from pretty and average sounding to plain and great sounding to Pretty and great sounding.  Go figure.  I'm not sure what that says about me.

That's the way I always see it Patrick.  A little pain up front for a lot of satisfaction down the line.  You are definately not alone in wanting more guitars.  It becomes a passion.  I've told my wife every other day that I will get another one after the first of the year.  She says fine.  She does not know how much it costs, but it is money, I alone, have saved and it doesn't take anything out of her pocket.  I feel good about it.  Thanks for the advice guys. I will also check into the L-00 tandm3.  Thanks.
I'm working on that lived in look, but I can't hold off that long for the new one.

I don't know David Gogo, but it sounds like he can play those blues licks.  Have fun.

That happens when you are used to singing with a certain strum pattern. You just have to keep practicing and it will come to you.  There may be some tricks to it, but I don't know any.  I would just use the newer strum pattern by itself until you feel good with it then, sing without thinking about the strumming if you can.  You'll get the hang of it.  Good luck.

You are devious, Zurf, but whatever works.  A dart shark.  The dart whisperer.

You'll do fine Russell.  One of my daughters had hers out several years ago and never had a problem with it.  Good luck.

Well, I've convinced myself the last few months that its the one I want.  It's good to hear someone else say how good it is.  I can't wait.  I'm saving up for after the holidays.

Welcome, debrap.  I'll bet you like the Hd-28.  I am getting ready to buy one in the next couple of months.  I absolutely love the sound of them.  Good luck.

Sorry to hear of this Zurf.  My heart goes out to everyone.

Welcome again dwightski.

Welcome dwight.  Good to see a new face.  I know you will learn a lot here, no matter what level you play at.
