That's not funny Ken, it's damned hilarious.

Nice one.

My strings are ok but I had a beer anyway. Can't let you good people drink on your own.

In 1963, Jeff Lynne, Robert Reader and David Walsh formed a group using little more than Spanish guitars and cheap electrical instruments to produce music. They were originally named "The Rockin' Hellcats" before changing to "The Handicaps" and finally to "The Andicaps". They practiced at Shard End Community Centre and performed weekly. However, in 1964, Robert Reader and David Walsh left the band and Lynne brought in replacements. At the end of 1964, Lynne decided to leave to replace Mick Adkins of the local band "The Chads".[2]

In 1966, Lynne joined the line-up of The Nightriders as guitarist. The band would soon change their name to the The Idle Race.

Saw them just once and were superb. In fact I have an album of theirs tucked away somewhere.

Yes Russell, I keep it up to date and clear out all the junk. I've also found that it does it a lot when on Chordie and sometimes it will not let me access Chordie when everything else is ok.

There may come a day when walking down the street we will all have to dodge 'frozen' computers coming crashing through peoples windows followed by a torrent of verbal abuse. I'm sure you can picture that in your mind.

I've had the 'freezing' problem with Vista for some time now but just somehow get used to it as the computer is out of warranty. It seems to sort itself out after rebooting and goes for weeks without it reaccuring.

The first time it freezes and stays there I'll take it for a swim at the local park.

A guitar, some booze and two toilet rolls. Now that's a party.

Enjoyed it.

Happy New Year to you Ken and all the other members on here.

Wishing everyone a good year with your music.

Rob.

I like it, it reminds me of Stanley Unwin.
Put the name into Youtube and you will see what I mean.

If you stand on one leg facing due north and whistle Dixie it should right itself.

Failing that log off then on and it should be ok. I've had the same problem.

Sorry Ken, didn't mean to confuse you. These are posts from yourself, Pere and myself when the site was changed.

Go to your profile and check back on your earlier posts and you will find it.

Just checked, you made the post on 4.4.2006. Hope that explains it.

You are right. I should stop using the admin-account to post messages, and use my private account instead...

Feeling a bit powerless, but it it good to know that it just takes me 10 seconds to switch back to admin..  <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif" border=0 alt="Smile">

It's a brave man that will go in the kitchen cupboards let alone clean them!

Have you seen the stuff they keep in there.

Listen to a wise old man, DON'T DO IT!!, you'll be on the streets when she gets back.

This is not a joke, it is deadly serious, it's ruddy cold out there.

I'm up to my neck in paint and wallpaper. I can play six guitars, a trombone and balance a piano on my head all at the same time but can I paint a straight line.......OH NO!

Stuff the house, let Santa sort it when he comes.

Zurf, if as you say, all prayers are answered, why has my wife of 35 years not spontaneously combusted by now or should I still have faith.

I've got my head stuck into some serious reading. It's a three year course on website administration.

When I finally qualify I will be able to join the other administrators on here and argue the toss about everything I know and lots of things I know sod all about.

Did I mention I write poetry as well?

I am in absolute agreement. I have been deaf in one ear since a child and it has never really caused me any problems. When I go to sleep at night I can put my good ear to the pillow and also cut out the racket around me.

Sometimes when I awake in the morning and look at the wife I wish my eyesight was also failing.

If you don't like rude words then don't click on this.
