Go to the ad's upper right corner and there is an icon there. Open that icon and "Opt out" of the ads. Close your browser and reopen browser back to Chordie. The ads should be gone. It took me three attempts but finally succeeded in removing them. Also, go to "www.donottrackme.com" (it's a free program) and download the free version of Do Not Track Me. It will help prevent those ads that are the result of retail sites you have visited.
Good luck.

I'm strictly acoustic but only because I haven't found the right hollow body guitar under $5,000.

You might consider Walden Guitars. I have a nice grand auditorium with a cedar top from Walden that sounds very, very nice.

I was playing a gig at a coffee when I fell backwards off the stage onto a table. Somehow I kept playing but to my dismay the applause I received for getting back on stage was bigger than at the end of our set. My bandmates tried to get me to do it again but it was one of those "once in a lifetime" things I'd rather not repeat.

I am also a big GH fan, having played "Apple Scruffs" (bluegrass style) live to a surprised house party. Years ago I bought the All Things Must Pass book and memorized all the chords and lyrics. Now I can't find that book and Amazon shows them for $125 and up!
I am a true fan of George's and recently bought the "Concert for George" DVD and nearly drove my family crazy playing it over and over.
An underappreciated talent for sure.
