Topic: Gibson sonix 180 Delux (2 replies, posted in Electric)
Can anyone help? im looking for a new neck for a Gibson sonix 180 limited editon,i bought it back in the 70s before i could play a note.during the years that past she became my best friend when everything els was falling apart. unfortunetly there was a time when not even myold friend could help me and while i was on a real downer. i threw her head first at the wall and snapped her head just above the nut. i know no real guitarist or musician would treat an instrument in this way but what can i say,"im only human" i would be forever thankfull if anyone could help me restore my old friend back to her original state. i've tried reparing the brake with dowling pins and glue and for a while she played fine, but the tourqh of the strings has started to seperate the brake so a new neck is the only salution.i could put any old fretboard on her but it would be nice to restore her back to her original state. after all she did'nt deserve my rough treatment, she was alwaze fathfull and i realy miss her sounds
The body was made from some new polimer or plastic substance which realy gives it it's own unique sound one problem though,"it's realy heavy on the shoulder" but i love her and want her back in my life.please HELP
PEACE...Love you all......chick<font color="teal"></font><font face="Arial"></font> <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_confused.gif" border=0 alt="Confused"> <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_redface.gif" border=0 alt="Embarassed">
