Hello all

A little history first.

I have a guild d25 that has been sitting in the case a many of years. I off and on played it.  But just last winter decided to get back to playing more.
Then I notice it had some fret buzz to it. I took it to the repair shop and he replace a fret, lower the action a bit, adjusted the rod a bit ,new martin light strings and clean/oil it.
I got it back and then a week latter it had buzz at the high e side. The repair guy fix that for free.

But now three week latter or so, I have a tinny sound to it.
Do you think it's the light gauge string or just me???
It had the same gauge stringsw on it before but years ago I use medium strings.
Should I change the string to medium??? Or just a different brand.
I'm picking up a Dean Markley pro mag grand for it too.

The sound come and goes...maybe it's the season we in now???

Any thoughts ???
Thanks
