many thanks for your reply yes it is the same amp as you asked at the moment i have only used the clean channel by johnny marr the manual that i downloaded from fender website is very sparce it does not go into great detail.
i have to laugh when my daughter visit me with her friends she tells them dont ask my dad to play his guitar.
probably the best thing i can do is forget pedals for the moment the next thing on my list is a proper fender strat in stead of this copy.

many thanks for your answers thats one problem solved.
i like all guitar music at the moment i am learning some guitar riffs and also some blues.
i have learnt 13 basic chords and am now trying tab it has been a slow process i use fretdaddy stickers on the neck and convert the tab into notes i find that better for me than just the numbers any tips will be gratefully recivied.

hello my chordie friends
as a 75 yr old i have been learning the guitar for just over a year now i have bought mysef a fender mustang 150 watt head together wit a bugera 4x12 cab what i would like to know is at the back of the head there are two sockets for fx imputs and two sockets for fx outputs the manual does not say how to use them could someone please tell me.

hello chordie friends.
what i would like to know what is the best way to achive better picking accuracy as i sometimes keep hitting the wrong string as i am trying to read the tab watch the fretboard  and pick the right string all at the same time and going all to cock after a few notes any help please.

i would just like to thank both of you for your answers i am getting a bit bogged down with my playing and i wasgetting so slow that after a couple of chords i was packing in playing or i would go onto something else to see if that was. quicker.
