I save the .chpro format songs in Dropbox and use an app called Songbook to view/edit/etc.  Great app.... the instructions will tell you how to set it up.

I've been using Chordie for years and have modified  hundreds of songs for keyboards.  I don't know why others don't talk about using chordie for playing keyboards.

Any chance of adding Keys under the "other instruments" topic to see what kind of response you get from  readers on using chordie in songbook or other apps for keys?  I have come across a system for writing tabs in chordpro format for use on keyboards.  I'd also be willing to help try to get keyboard users involved in using chordie.

bottom line like they said above... ASK your insurer about what and where it is covered... and ask what the deductible is.... it may be $500 so it may make you think about it.

I've used this app for years now... I use it on my ipad for band practice, and even for some gigs.  As a matter of fact, 3 people in our band uses it.  I have over 500 songs in in.  Great features.  If you use chordie, you can go to chordpro view in a tabbed song with chords and copy the text, then in Songbook select 'new from clipboard' and the song goes right in your list.

I would like to copy many popular music chordie .pro songs from this site, including lyrics and chords, and rewrite them in a piano/organ/synthesizer-friendly format for listing in my folder in your site.  most songs are currently listed in a general or guitar-oriented format.   Would i be violating any copyright laws doing this or have any other issues by doing this?
