Topic: the time and date

This is a silly request maybe.

I think I am missing some posts becasue of the time difference.

IS it possible so each person can have their own time in their own country? so when a new post is up it shows what time local time it was put on?

I would like this.

Or just change the time to be GMT, this might annoy most users but it would please me very much

Re: the time and date

You are right, Ken - the forum date & time thing is very odd . . . seemingly 'chordie standard time' is a 25th time zone in some parallel universe. Your idea is good - change it to a commonly-used setting (like GMT).

Or, maybe the 'Today's Messages' button could be set to present the messages posted in the past 24 hours - that way whenever you hit the button, it just shows the 24 hours previous to that particular moment . . .

Hey, here is a fellow who knows how to have fun - check out the photo!

Re: the time and date

I agree whole heartedly with your comments on the peculiarities of Chordie time Ken and James. And after looking at James's photo I can't help thinking that busking must have been hard in bygone days.
