Topic: Wooden Picks

Does anybody use wooden guitar picks? I have never seen one in person but a google search brings up some.

How does it change the sound? Harder to play? Is it like using a heavy pick?

Re: Wooden Picks

I imagine those would have quite a bit of drag on the strings....I could be wrong, but I've never heard of them.

Re: Wooden Picks

Hi all,

I actually got 2 wooden picks for free. (www.fidispicks.com) I don't use them hardly at all. Once in a blue moon I'll pull one out. They are like using a really thick plastic pick. There is no give to them at all. They do have a different sound though. I am a newbie so I find them to be difficult to play with.

Re: Wooden Picks

Those wooden picks will they interfere with the guitar strings, I mean that strings are broken 5 times faster?
