Welcome to to the great Chordie site.
I think that the best place to find the beginner songs you are looking for is in the Public books. There is a section there for Absolute Beginners where there are 25 songbooks in which other members have collated the easier songs. I am sure that you will find in there something that you know and like.

Welcome to Chordie and the wonderfull world of the guitar. Some easy songs would be Every Rose Has it's Thorn (Poison), Patience (Guns n Roses), Mother (Pink Floyd). All of them have no more than 4 chords and are all bonified panty droppers!
