Topic: Old Times Fun with Music

Just happened across this.  A good reminder for us old folks who remember Peter Paul and Mary, Donovan and the Smothers Brothers.  And to bring some of the fun they used to have with music to the foreground and to the attention of some of you younger folks who may not be aware of these or or would like to learn from them.  They sure did have fun back then.

There are quite a few railroad songs he plays (he is now a retired Railroad Engineer - aka choo choo train driver).  So, here's a little Boxcar Willie:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYzHeuhZfuM

Fun with music... these guys ALWAYS put on an entertaining show!  I'm thinking they were on Hee Haw once, but that seems like an odd fit... of course, Hee Haw was always odd (and fun)!

Re: Old Times Fun with Music

Bensonp  That certainly took me back a few years.
There were a lot of little dance halls back then in Belfast.
We used to dance to Those songs. They were defenatly
The Good Old Days. No more little dance halls with a Cock Cola and Ice.
Now it is Clubs-Night Spots 24 hour opening, Drunks and Drugs
I met my wife Jean in a little dance hall It was called
The Painters Hut. They are all long gone, Just like the singers.
The Times Are A Changing. Thanks bensonp for the memory
and the rest of you guys who contributed your video.
