Topic: pieces - sum 41

Hi, Does anyone know the correct strumming pattern for this song? It's got nice easy chords Em, C, G, D a good beginners song and a nice tune.

Atm I am strumming dddudu and it sounds pretty right to me. I just listened to the song and copied what I heard, so I did a internet search just to check if I was right but it seems everyone that does a lesson on this song has a diff strumming pattern...and you guessed it none of them matched mine.

If it sounds right to me do I just go for it...what are your thoughts? I'm no expert.

If it sounds right then go with it!

I second that!  If it sounds right go for it.  Everyone strums patterns a little differently and as a general rule there's no one way to pick a pattern to emulate an entire band.  Do what sounds good to you!  Have fun!

Another point you should consider is that when a band plays a song they have a bass, drums, perhaps a keyboard an another guitar to fill all the gaps so they could get away with a totally different strumming patern than solo on the acoustic.
