I suppose he did the only thing he could do, kept on singing. I'm surprised the bird continue to sit there as he petted it. Great video, thanks for sharing it with us.

To me it looked like the bird was a juvenile or injured. It seemed to more or less fall onto him and at the end it fell off his guitar. Still out of the ordinary tho.
