Topic: New Guitar and need feedback.

Recently got myself the 50th anniversary Epiphone Casino and love it. Not sure if too many of u out there are lovers of Epiphone but would love your feedback on these guitars. Also have an sg electric and cube 40xl amp.

Hi Rich,

I've got an Epiphone Wildkat, not many around but I really like it. Great tone, very nicely finished and I think it just looks so cool.

Re: New Guitar and need feedback.

When the band was a quartet, the fourth played a Casino, and it was fantastic.  Epiphone is the best value in guitars, I think.

Someday we'll win this thing...

Re: New Guitar and need feedback.

I have an old 70s model acoustic epi. I love it. I've played some other fairly pricey guitars and mine certainly doesn't look, feel or sound inferior. I'm very pleased. Jerry, that's a real pretty one thanks for the pics.

Re: New Guitar and need feedback.

I have a Dot Studio. No fancy trim or shiny colors.Just a strippo with black hardware. It plays good but I had a major feedback problem so it doesnt get much use.My only pet peeve with epiphones is that they always seem to arrive poorly set up.Loose pots and plugs. An easy fix but still an inconvenience.

Re: New Guitar and need feedback.

Epiphones are good guitars but the new ones I've played need a good professional set-up to play just right. If the set-up is right it can be so sweet to play.
