I may be a bit late but he song was sung by Lee

Marvin in "Paint My Wagon". It also had Clint

Eastwood in it. God knows why I remembered!!

Look here http://www.jumbojimbo.com/lyrics.php?so … ype=chords  for the chords and lyrics to Wanderin' Star from Paint your Wagon.  This song was released as a single in the UK as a double A side with the other song being I Talk to the Trees by Cint Eastwood.  Neither Eastwood norMarvin are what you could call singers, but at least Marvin's voice was interesting and, in some ways, quite remarkable, which is probably why this song made such an impact.
