Topic: Nelson Mandela
Yesterday Nelson Mandela passed away aged 95 from a lung infection.
For most of us South Africans he was forgiveness and reconciliation personified.
A sad day for our country and indeed the whole world to lose such a man.

He was one of the great people of the modern era, and in a class with only a select few like Ghandi and Mother Theresa. Planet Earth is the poorer for his passing.

i am so glad that people are celebrating his life while mourning his passing. my condolences to his family and the great nation of South Africa.

Awesome example of what needs to be done in our screwed up world.
Just think of what he could have accomplished if he weren't in prison for all those years.

R.i.p Nelson Mandela truly a legend in history , saw a picture in one of todays newspapers of a young white south african lad hugging an elderly black lady ,that would never have happened if it wasn`t for Nelson Mandela .
