Hay i'm a professional musician i make a living playing music. I need a band! The last band i had they were all assholes but they were really good. I live in columbiana, ohio. if anybody is interested give me a holler
Sorry to hear about your band. Iplay, but no where near ohio. I'm only like, 13, but i rock(or so i'm told). My dad played professionly for a long time, and he taught me. a good way to meet other musicians is to go to open mics. bands will work a lot better if the other people in the band are the people you hang out with anyways. i'm kinda sceptical of the ad for band members thing because it assumes that band chemistry can happen between any random musicians and i'm not sure it can. also part of the problem of being a singer/songwriter looking for a band is that there are way more singer songwriters than bassists and drummers. good luck...

Posting for band members rarely works. I know an old country/western musician who tried it and never got anywhere. I told him his best bet was to go to open mics around the area. I've tried it myself, with no results.
Oh by the way, I live in the Annapolis, Maryland area (near Arnold......ARNOLD??@?@??) and if anyone wants to get together for a little folkie thingy, let me know.
