Topic: Mississippi Queen - Open D

OK, so I know there are some killer lead guitar licks in this tune and it's been tabbed a lot in standard tuning.

I was sort of forced to try to sing/scream this in a band once and it was a stretch -- I started fooling around with it in Open D, slowed it down, and it came out pretty cool.   

You can get a good groove/mute going with your strumming hand and you're off! I usually play it with cross harp/neck rack in G. 

Wasn't sure where to post this, but hope somebody can use it.
