Topic: Best Guitar for 230-300$?

I have been looking for a nice guitar for around 230-300$(although i would like to stay away from 290-300 if at all possible), and i could use some chordian opinion(hah, that has a nice ring to it).  A few that I have been looking at are:

-Schecter Omen 6
-Jackson Dinky series
-Dean V shape and xplorer shape
-BC Rich warlock
-Ibanez GSA60(nice vintage sunburst)
-Floyd Rose DSOT-3
-Esp Viper 100-fm, h-101 flame top, and f-100fm

okay, so its more than a few.  i especially like the Deans and the Esp's.  Also i like the Ibanez.
Let me know of any suggestions and/or what you think of my selections.

Save $100.00 american and check out the Michael Kelly guitar line. In my opinion their more bang for your buck in the quality department.

Bootlegger.

Hey Bootlegger,
I've seen you mention Michael Kelly guitars before so I decided to go to the website to take a look for myself.  Sweet looking instruments for about the same price of Epiphone Les Pauls.  In your opinion overall (I know each instrument is different) does the Michael Kelly line outdo the Epi's in quallity and tone?  Just wondering.

Beats Michael Kelly, PRS and Epiohone in quality, tone and price...Hands down.

I just bought one of their AL-2000 silverburst customs.

What about an Ibanez Artcore AFS75T?  Looks pretty fricken beautiful, and i noticed the price just dropped to 300$ American.  At a battle of the bands my band recently played in(and won) there was a guy who was playing this guitar and it sounded awesome.

Re: Best Guitar for 230-300$?

Never tried one like dean, ibanez, but if this is your guitar of your dreams: buy it.
They told me that they are easy to play and they have a great sound. The eastern made guitars, are since a long time no more almost exact fender and gibson copies. They really start to design and make their own guitars, and I think (50/50) that the price of these guitars will go up in value.
The more publicity they make and get, the more they sell.

I can atest to the MK over the Epi because I've played both and I liked the MK better. As far as the agile never seen one until detmam101 bought one. The PRS (MIA's made in America) that I have played are nice but the price tags are to heavy for my wallet.
