Topic: WHAT KIND OF STRINGS??

Hey yall smile
Im having to buy new strings for my squire stratocaster fer the first time i was wonderin' what brand yall would reccomend (never bought electric strings b4 the guitar was a gift and it came with them).

I dont know if this has anything to do with anything but im not playing anything too heavy... i play with some distortion but not TOO much....

Since you are a Skynyrd fan if you plan to play a lot of bends go with the .009's (light gauge strings) the original set are probley .009's anyways. As to what brand it is personal preference on what brand you like and what works for you.

a good brand of strings is DUNLOP USA.
they have a real nice smooth feel to them and they r the best kindv strings i have used.
