Re: Two part done dance tracks

they were both great tunes, albeit a bit short ...

your tune "Let it be goodbye" came up after that (in the background) - and I thought I was listening to the singer from "They might be giants" ...

I put my tunes inside iTunes and use the visualizer to create things like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLCImiz … gbVq3hXI2E

Re: Two part done dance tracks

Cheers Richard. I had a listen to both tracks thought the second one was better, Were they done with wave samples?  I like  pine tree blues,  Also nothing like being out in nature.  That was Kenny aka kap54 singing let it be goodbye.

They actually start around here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRpniJY … mp;index=1

The early ones were done with "Beatwave", there's a review article here, mostly when I was on the way to work and on the train ...

The later ones (and the ones you listened to), are done with Novation Launchpad on the iPad.

Cheers, we're actually about 100 metres from a fairly major road, and it's just over the lake from where we live smile

Re: Two part done dance tracks

I'll congratulate your effort, CTECH, although I wouldn't know a good dance tune if it bit me. At best, my dancing is like Mr. Bean's!

Re: Two part done dance tracks

Hi Ctech I've done a fair number of Electro/Dance/Chill Ambient music over the years hence my Mods title..
Starting a track is mostly easy completing a track can be difficult my hard drive is littered with uncompleted projects.
I usually build my track up using a pad as a starting point to create an overall feel for the track.
I try many combos of drums percussion etc
Then I create some sort of melody that goes with the pad with a keyboard on board the pc programme or an external one.
and or on electric acoustic guitar using effects.
If your interested here's a few tracks I've done in the past it might give you a couple of ideas.:)

Thanks ark for giving me a method to work from.  I'll have a listen and see if I get inspired.

That's a really cool pattern to build with, Arkady ... never really thought it through before. With you being one of my favorite "One Man Bands", thanks for the peek behind the curtain as to how it all comes together. You must have a mult-track brain to keep tabs on everything ... wow!
