Thanks Saint 001! The B chord beats me up and I liked how it showed another way to play it, right on! Thanks for the info!!
Find or Create Chord Diagrams:
You can find chord diagrams on various guitar chord websites or create them using software like Microsoft Paint or dedicated chord diagram generators online.
Select the Chord Diagram:
Use your mouse cursor to click and drag over the chord diagram you want to copy. This action will create a selection box around the diagram.
Copy the Chord Diagram:
Once the chord diagram is selected, right-click on it and choose the "Copy" option from the context menu. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + C on your keyboard.
Open Word Document:
Open Microsoft Word and create a new document or navigate to the document where you want to paste the chord diagram.
Paste the Chord Diagram:
Click on the location within the Word document where you want to insert the chord diagram. Right-click and choose the "Paste" option from the context menu, or press Ctrl + V on your keyboard.
Adjust Size and Position (if needed):
You may need to adjust the size and position of the chord diagram within the Word document to fit your layout. Click and drag the corners of the diagram to resize it, and drag it to the desired location within the document.
Repeat for Additional Chord Diagrams:
If you have multiple chord diagrams to add, repeat the above steps for each one, copying and pasting them into the Word document as needed.
Save Your Document:
Don't forget to save your Word document once you've added all the chord diagrams to ensure you don't lose your work.
A simple option is to use chord diagram images rather than trying to copy them as text. Most chord sites let you right click the diagram and save it as an image, then you can just insert that image into your Word document.
Another easy method is to use plain text chord boxes from sites that support ASCII diagrams, then adjust the font in Word to a monospace font like Courier New so everything lines up properly.
If you are creating a lot of charts, programs like ChordPro or Guitar Pro can also export clean chord diagrams that paste nicely into Word or PDF.
