Topic: Brick & Mortar

Ok Chordians,. Looking for a hook.  But here is the verses

Brick & Mortar

Diamonds are forever but they
Will not pay the toll.
Iron, forged from the earth,
Wraps around my soul.

Brick and mortar  builds walls,
walls which hide your heart,
and block your pain.
Yet never acknowledge all that's been slain

Always seeking beyond
that which is far from reach
I will take you on a journey
As long as you are willing to losse control.

Open up, let your heart free
You only have joy to gain
Climb in and let's take that ride
All you have to do is smash
The walls and smile from the inside.

Re: Brick & Mortar

beamer another great poem. You have a true gift  of saying more than the poem reads.

Music is what feelings sound like.
Music is life, that why our hearts have beats.

Re: Brick & Mortar

Thanks.  Need to smooth out a few things and really need a chorus.

Really nice of you to work on that.  I will re arrange it again, as you have helped get a flow going..

I am trying not to make it so much a I've come back for you, but I'm going out searching and why don't you join me for the ride.

But I def will use a lot of it and the C progressiotjanks much!

Re: Brick & Mortar

Bravo, you two ... Bravo!

Whatever the actual final words / chords come out as, this is a terrific collaboration by two of Chordie's premiere songwriters.

Re: Brick & Mortar
