Topic: Chord variation.

Hallo there,
When i click on chord variation,
and i find a chord sound better in the 3th position for example
why can't i print it with the variation chord?
because i've noticed the chords switch back to start mode

Can someone please help me with this problem?
I use Chordie .com alot ,keep up the good work.

Re: Chord variation.

I havenot looked into this Summers,bu you coud try this

Get the song you want.
Change the chord variation, then save it to your songbook ( might have to make one up if you dont have one)
then once it is in your songbook, try printing it,

I am sure I printed a song before that I changed? , I know it prints after you transpose a song. I annot see why it would change for a variation of a chord? might just be a wee glitchand if so the Admin will be onto it as soon as he can.

thanks

Ken

ye get some that are cut out for the job and others just get by from pretending

Re: Chord variation.

This is a bug that I was not aware of. I am rewriting major portions of this code now (including an entirely new print option). I will fix this then.

Thanks  for responding so soon to my message !
And about the chords, i sometimes play a variation chord and it sounds really good ,
it's nice to copy it with the cords you like best , ain't that so?

Re: Chord variation.

What I normally do is just print the song out the draw the chord diagrams on, works for me

You have to forget about what other people say; when you're supposed to die, when you're supposed to be lovin'. You have to forget about all these things. You have to go on and be crazy. Craziness is like heaven.

I just found this site.  New to guitar and I do not under stand the chord variations.  Waht does semitone mean?

Re: Chord variation.

i always right click on the chord then copy it. you can then paste it onto a word document and print it. it's a pain but it works.

Re: Chord variation.

I noticed now that when i take a song out of "my songbook"
then change the chords by rightclick the way i want to play them,
and then print it the chords stay that way!
but next time i open the song from "my songbook" the chords
changed back again to how they where before.
so i can print them but i can not save them.
