Topic: JANUARY 2023 FSOTM – WINE, SING, TIME, BEAT, SOUND EFFECTS

Happy New Year to everyone and may 2023 be good to you all and may the music flow big_smile


So, this month, JANUARY 2023 FSOTM looking for songs with the words WINE, SING, TIME, BEAT and songs with SOUND EFFECTS i.e. Aaah, Oooh, do,do,do, la de la, dee dee etc.


Once again, these SONGS can be ORIGINALS or COVERS.   You can enter as many songs as you want this month.


Some suggested songs by Chordie members were as follows:

Something in the Water – Brooke Fraser
Red Red Wine – Neil Diamond
Kisses Sweeter Than Wine – Jimmy Rodgers and later Jackson Brown/Bonnie Raitt
Cheap Wine – Cold Chisel

These are just suggested SONGS but feel free to cover any other SONGS that fit with the WORDS above.

neo - firstly congrats on being the first up this month with entries.  They were both good, I enjoyed them both.  But of the two songs, my favorite was TIME.  Your cover of the song suited you vocally and you played it really well.  Excellent choice of cover for you all round on TIME.  A thumbs up from me smile

I haven't had a chance to enter any songs this month, with holiday season here for us, I have been away too much to record anything.  I might re-do this month's words during the course of the year as I had a few songs lined up to do that I just didn't get time to do.   Anyway, onto next month's FSOTM.
