Topic: Dizzy Heights of D Grade

One of the sports i play is tennis.we have a team of old guys
that travel around in summer to various clubs and usually compete
against  players quite a bit younger.but know one enjoys it more than us
no matter the result.

Dizzy Heights of D Grade
there once was a team
at the bottom of the grade
they were digging their own hole
with a raquet not a spade
had not one point
at the end of the season
not being good players
was probably the reason
all of the team
enjoyed a good hit
but often admitted
that they`d played like s***

i used a bit of poetic licence,we actually won a game once.
it ruined our 100% losing record though.of course it didnt
say much for the team we beat.

Like most sports, I enjoy playing but not watching. Change that to enjoyed playing, my knees won't allow me to run about anymore. Very humourous verse Brian.

Haha funny.   D grade or not, bottom or top grade, it`s the enjoyment of the game, the team camaraderie and laughs along the way.  Good on you Brian, sounds like your team are all good sports.
