Topic: Can you get ear transplants?

I have been getting really annoyed recently. This has been because I seem to have become very fussy when tuning my guitar. Sometimes taking 15-20 mins just to get it spot on. This has caused a knock on effect to my playing because as I have become more neurotic about the tuning I have started to think that my playing is getting worse. Started to blame the guitar and everything.

Then I bought a digital tuner and can't believe the difference it has made. It's not like I was way out with tuning by ear but I was getting to the stage where if it was out by a fraction I was starting to pick it up and it was really putting me off.

I can't make my mind up if I am becoming more tuned in to the sound of the notes or if I am tone deaf.

Maybe I could pick up some decent ears on eBay.

Is anything really made up of zeros and ones??

I got an electronic tuner for the same reason last year. I got one of those damn expensive ones " the intellitouch tuner" got it cheap @ £35 for the top of the range in intellitouch. Usually they are about £42

I am so happy with my tuner, or I was until a guy in my work bought one very similar ( as in it tunes by the vibration and note the sound) for a mere £20. He has no light on his though not that I have ever had to use the light on mine I dont think

Dude, is sounds like you need a sister-transplant. LOL Just kidding. I suggest only using other musicians as roadies. They'll respect your gear.

Re: Can you get ear transplants?

Sounds like I got a bargain. Mine only cost £10. All singing all dancing, lights n everything. I'll need to remember to keep it out of reach of inquisitive family members.
