Topic: Song for George-Eric Johnson

Does anyone know what tuning Eric uses on this song? Right now I'm tuned dAGDAD and it sounds close, but something, and I can't tell what, sounds weird.  Thanks-this is a sweet song

Is the tuning I have my guitar in now the right one? Low to high-DADGAd not sure what this tuning is called.

Re: Song for George-Eric Johnson

i checked with one of the guys who play it well ( very well ! ) on you tube . he played it in what called double drop d tuning . i got no idea till now - but he says the tuning he used is DADGBD . hope this helps .....

any resemblance to my songs sounding anything like the original is highly unlikely.
