Topic: Help with a gospel song

Does anyone know where I can get the words & chords for "Where the
Timbers Cross". Not sure of the artist(s). I need this song for my wife.

Re: Help with a gospel song

I automatically removed the lyrics from this thread but I may have acted hastily. I have just realised I may have been wrong and hymns may well be out of copyright. I will do some investigation but if anyone can advise me on this I would be grateful.

Thanks Ingonishmedic and welcome to chordie.  Roger is right in being carefull not to violate any copyright laws so don't take his actions as anything other than that. I'm sure, after a little checking, the lyrics will be back if it is possible. If not send me a PM.

Hi NELA,
Here is link for just the lyric:

Sorry, can't find chords (yet) - but I bet it's out there somewhere.  Any idea who the composer might be, or who may have recorded this hymn?  Any of that info would be useful.  James

Re: Help with a gospel song

James, thanks for the link. Not sure who the composer or who recorded this song. It was sung at a jam session we went too awhile back but I didn't ask the folks who done the singing about the song. I will next time we all get together.
