Topic: WHO is a proud owner of a ROBOTIC guitar?

I believe it all started with VARIAX a Line 6 product = VARIAX 300, VARIAX 600 and the VARIAX 700 all electrics.

But who has a, or has experience with:

1) GIBSON ROBOTIC GUITAR? First "edition", because that product has been discontinued (I would love to have an answer on WHY do they do it? Those Gibsons were sold faster than light.
Now they produce a "studio" and an SG ROBOTIC guitar. If I should buy one it would be an SG.
Watching videos on youtube, a Gibson Robotic, first issue looks more difficult than they promote.

2) FENDER VG STRATOCASTER?
Has more options than a GIBSON ROBOTIC.
37 different issues. They all come from the five primary Modes: Normal (non-digital) Stratocaster, virtual Stratocaster, Telecaster, humbucking pickup and acoustic. In each mode, use the guitar’s blade switch to select pickups (bridge, middle and neck). This guitar has 5 alternate tunings.

Except from the VARIAX who has experience with one of these 2 guitars? An amazing extra is the fact thatyour VG needs batteries, when their time has come, the VG turns into a regular STRAT.

Re: WHO is a proud owner of a ROBOTIC guitar?

yea doc i been thinking about forking out several grand so I wont have to tune my guitar and while im at it hire a butler to do the laundry there must be a ton of things i can squander my social security away on, I HAVE IT! a new corvette or maybe a gas guzzing suv that new toy is not even on my wish list, if you have to buy a guitar that tunes itself you might want to shop around  for a bed with a lid  lol
