Re: SOME GREAT TRIBUTE BANDS and sometimes BETTER THAN THE REAL

also talking of tribute bands,
the tribute to abba called "born again" or however you spell their name. They have been going longer now than the actual band ABBA lasted.
And I think the bootleg beatles as well. I know they were going in the early 90's where the beatles never lasted ten years.

ye get some that are cut out for the job and others just get by from pretending

It wierds me out a little when there are tribute bands for bands that are still touring.  I'm just saying.

Re: SOME GREAT TRIBUTE BANDS and sometimes BETTER THAN THE REAL

I prefer cover bands that mix it up a bit like;
Dread Zeppelin,  a Regge Led Zeppelin cover band,  with an Elvis impersonator for a lead singer,   Beatallica,  Beatles covers done in the style of Metallica, or Hayseed Dixie, a Country/ Bluegrass AC/DC cover band.
