I recorded a song using Audacity, how do I save it as an audio file?

I created a folder on my desktop and named it lame....then i unzipped the lame file i just downloaded to this folder...open up your recording in audacity then click on export as mp3...it will want you to locate the lame_enc.dll file that is in the folder you created...direct it to this file and you are done....from then on it will automatically make an mp3 out of whatever you record....hope i explained it well enough...if not let us know...
