Topic: " NGD " Gotta stay out of...

Gotta stay out of the guitar shops!lol Took my strat in to get a total setup after changing

     strings from 9's to 10's. No problem. But what to do in the mean time? Well how about

     strummin on a couple guitars? Why sure! So now I own a new, beautiful and sounding

     great Crafter T-035E. The deal was too good-had to do it. Hadn't played this brand

     before but glad I did, even tho I wasn't looking. Anyone looking to get another might

     check this company out. MIK and many models to caress. Dealers are limited in the

     U.S. I think. Will try to get some pics up soon.     Mike

Congrats Papa!!! You can't pass up a great deal even if you're not looking to add to your collection. But maybe next time you should just drop off your guitar and leave. It might be a cheaper visit to the shop.

Crafter are quite popular in the UK. reasonably priced too.

off topic... went to get a pedicure the other day and there was a REALLY hunky, bulky, attractive man there that had a manicure AND a pedicure.  Let me just say, he received a LOT of attention from all the women sitting near him getting their nails and feet done, as well as from the nail specialists.  You might be pleasantly surprised if you had a pedicure done (ahhhh the relaxation of a foot massage)!  LOL!  It's a little cheaper than a new guitar too!  hee hee!

Surely a terrible fate Toots. I tend to stand out like a sore thumb in the ladies undies
  section. Dino- I'm sure you know that women have eyes that see 360 when around
  others of their kind so trouble would be putting it mildly,lol, and Amy- what a picture
  you just put in my mind,LMAO. I had this thought of me sitting in one of those seats
  being attended to and nearly spit my coffee out! Now I know there are men that have
  this done and I'm sure it feels great(GF does it often), and this is a new era but some
  of us(men) have to just draw a line. Thanks for the advice but I'll spare the world of
  seeing me in that seat.  wink     Mike

Thats one good looking guitar,I like all the electronic gadgets on it. What are they? When you goshopping with your wife bring your guitar with you and sing,play,maybe that will stop the go with me plan.

   thanks for the info. Did not know that they are that popular and priced well. I think it's
   priced very reasonable for the quality.

Dino-- the on board electronics is an L.R.Baggs under the saddle pup. It has a tuner that with
   a push of a button is activated and also enables a silencer so not to be heard while tuning
   mid way through a song if needing to. It lights reddish if a string is out of tune and turns
   green when in tune at 440 hz. There are 4 eq's, a volume control, phase button and low
   battery indicator. The battery "box" is next to the input jacks. Good advice, thanks, Mike

Yeah man, tell me about it.  Geoaguiar sent me some stuff to collaborate a million years ago and I haven't figured it out yet.  I can record myself - with one mic for both voice and guitar - and make one track out of it.  Stacking tracks or using more than one input, forget it.

I like all the added on electronic goodies it has,you just need some headlights and wipers to be street legal now. I am really impressed with your guitar,next time I go to guitar center I am going to go look at them if they have them!

Went to the weekly jam last night and took along the Crafter to give a test run. It did pretty
   darn good. Everyone liked it and was impressed with the price tag. I have to watch for the
   acoustic feedback though, but all in all I'm still smilin!

   Funny, I was talking with a friend last night and come to find out he has the same software
   as I do and he actually uses it! So maybe soon on some recordings just don't ask me to
   define "soon". lol

   Good luck Dino at GC. Last time I inventoried their guitar selection no Crafters came up.
   Hey-good idea having headlights. You could see where you're heading! BTW- that is a
   "take a hike" floor mat, one of two. Good observation Deadstring!
