Headed to the mountains this morning with the wife and kids for some cave and Trail hiking. Just figured I'd share a few pics from the day.. (bored at the hotel without my guit)

Guess I'll stop there. I've got tons of other pics but still need to upload them.  Tomorrow we're going to try a little trout fishing and rock climbing followed by a hike to MT. Mitchells summit before we head back for work monday. Hope everyone else is having a great weekend!

Nice shots Pix - I love the NC Mountains. You should have stopped by for a little pickin - I'm at home for the weekend, heading back to FLA tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your trip and drive safe.

Yep, That's where most of these were shot. We're in Arden this morning fixing to head to Cherokee via the parkway. Then we'll make our way back toward Chimney Rock/Lake Lure and then on to Mt. Mitchell and maybe Grandfather Mountain if we have time...
