did you ever say something that you've lived to regret?

eg: i'll never come here again

you wont catch me dead in fared trousers

i was thinking about john lennon the other day and how he'd feel now after his statement in
" how do you sleep?" ... a pretty face may last a year or two/ but pretty soon we'll see what you can do. how do you sleep. at nights

ps. (hint) it was about mccartney

I'm sure I have, but nothing comes to mind right now.  I frequently find myself saying things to my children that any rational person who is not a parent would never think would have to be said.

heres one for ya,"there are times I think my hands would look nice wrapped around my wife`s neck but I dont act upon it".Long story.48 hrs on msnbc had a guy who killed his father.He said he saw the extension cord and thought it would look nice wrapped around his neck so he did it.Thats when I texted the comment to my friends and bandmates.One thought I was serious and things werent the same after that.Oh I am not in that band anymore.

"I want to have a baby!" ... because that led to "I do" which lead to THREE babies!  I only wanted one, I should have just waited and let things roll as they would.  I don't regret any one of my kids, but... I wish I hadn't pushed things for sure!  smile  Add to that, "Let's buy a house."  Because here we are stuck in "The Money Pit".

I was raised primarily by my grandparents, who had this crazy idea that kids should have to work for things they wanted, and well sometimes just work (unheard of eh?). There were many many times I lived to regret the words "I'm bored".

I once met a young fellow at a factory that I was working in, and recognized his last name. I told him that I used to "bang" a girl way back by the same name. He said" Yea, that's my MOM!!!
