Well I was going to vote leave as is, but now that I see the end result at the end I realize how wrong I'd have been.  That's awesome looking.

Looks real good Pix. Aluminum is much too common, this design gives them character.

The black looks really good though as what has been said already, it would definitely require more attention in terms of keeping it looking fresh always.  It would not be something that you would have to do in every 3 months but rather something that needs to be done at least once a year.

I painted my own rims once before and that proved to look really great but required paint application every now and then.
