How to pick

I can get most open chords and strum ok but i would like to pick a few songs too. I figured out the finger paterns for house of the rising sun just fine. I need to know how finger paterns work for the ordinary open chords  G, C, F, D, D7, G7, C7, Am, Dm, E , Em, A, A7, Is there a place I can go on the internet to find these finger paterns or a book that explains all that. Thanks for any help anyone can bring me.
