Topic: For MB-2

I've been lurking/not posting for the last couple of years and after reading MB's post about hearing Revolution and Helter Skelter for the first time I thought I'd post some links to just a touch of some great tunes from the mid sixties to the mid seventies. I talk to my family and friends kids and they all pretty much agree that the era of the sixties/seventies is tops when it comes to music that evokes raw emotion. I gotta agree. smile
So MB I hope you enjoy the links and music from the best era there was for music. Maybe others will post more links cause there's tons of bands that I've never heard and I'm closing in on 60.

Welcome to the awesome world of music and the best forum on the net.

Cheers smile

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: For MB-2

Awesome, KAP! Looks like "School of Rock--Summer Vacation" still has a few weeks to go!

Re: For MB-2

Hi Kenny,

Some great stuff there. Nice to hear from you again, please do not be a stranger.

Re: For MB-2

Hi MB,

Hopefully they're tunes that are new to you, if not that's OK cause it was a great trip surfing down memory lane.

Kenny

Howdy Roger,
Yup some good ole tunes for sure. I'll give it a good shot to stop in more often, maybe hook into a skype jam if I can work up the *#^%$$ nerve. LOL

Cheers

Kap -

You don't need nerve for a Skype "virtual campfire."  Mekidsmom's kids play and sing and are welcomed with great enthusiasm.  All you need is a connection.  If you are of the bent to indulge in such things, adult beverages also help.  I sing.  That should be enough to let you know that imperfection is not only endorsed but encouraged.  We would welcome you with open electrons.

Granted B chord amnesty by King of the Mutants (Long live the king).
If it comes from the heart and you add a few beers... it'll be awesome! - Mekidsmom

Re: For MB-2

Kenny, there is no one to make you nervous on the Skype sessions.  We all play and sing and make mistakes and have fun doing it.

Re: For MB-2

Thanks for that Zurf and Pete. smile It means alot.
I think MKM said she uses her Zoom Q3 as a mic/camera. If so than maybe I look real real hard at stopping in.

#1)I gotta look into how to set it up.
#2) Set it up.
#3) Go to the store and buy some wobbly pops.
#4) Just do it.

Geez Alou, I'm sweating already. LOL....Time for a wobbly pop.

Cheers and Thanks for the invite
