The opening artist was Richie Havens. He closed his set with the iconic FREEDOM (MotherlessChild).

I lived only a few miles away from the town of Woodstock, but I was only 5 years old at the time. My only real memory was seeing it on the news and my parents complaining about the traffic.

I loved seeing the film on it,my personal favorite was Alvin Lee ( Ten Years After ) playing going home.

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.
