Topic: what tablet can be used?

Can chordie songs be downloaded to a tablet? If so, which ones?  Respectfully, Keith

Re: what tablet can be used?

To the top.  Again, does anyone here use a tablet ( any brand) that they can download chordie songs to? I have hundreds of sheets of music and its very unrulely not to mention not an easily catagorized.

Re: what tablet can be used?

I have an ASUS Iconia 510 tablet on which I have the Chordinator app. When Chordinator searches for songs it just uses Google with "<song title>:site chordie.com" which usually finds the song on Chordie and when I select a hit, it loads the page and offers me the option to download the song to Chordinator. Works really well but that is why I am searching through this forum to see if there is a way to download/export songbooks from chordie to save downloading them individually.

Any song on Chordie can be downloaded to Android devices, Windows devices and Ipad devices using the chopro format on Chordie, with this program.  i have been using it for years and love it.

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: what tablet can be used?

Hi fellow chordie fans,

I got a tablet a while back in large part for this purpose but haven't gotten around to really making it work. I understand how to get individual songs into an app (like Chordinator) but does anyone have suggestions on how to do this most efficiently if you've got lots of songs in your songbook? Is there no better approach than saving each individual song as a file? Maybe some trick to take the saved songbook that Chordie will make for you and some little script that can parse it into separate files and name the files based on the chopro titles in the songs? Any ideas greatly appreciated.
