Re: Strumming Patterns for songs

actually, that's not a bad looking pickup... wonder what it sounds like? probably far better than what I'm currently using which is basically a microphone masquerading as a single coil...

it's definitely a microphone as it picks up my voice even with the strings muted and it also works with nylon strings on my classical guitar!!

Re: Strumming Patterns for songs

hey there guys!

i was wondering if anyone could listen to 'hands clean' by alanis morissette, and share the strumming pattern that fits the song best in their opinion? i've also watched a few vids on youtube but couldn't actually figure out how it's done. i used to play the guitar when i was 7 yo then quit and now i realize it wasnt the wisest choise i've ever made xD so i'm trying to catch up by practicing and practicing as often as i can. thanks!

kindly anyone help me 2 learn guitar chords.i am a new guitar player

Re: Strumming Patterns for songs

I found one site that included the strumming pattern along with the tabs and chords.  Unfortunately, I cannot find it again!  Anyone who knows the site please post the URL.  I was looking for tabs when I found it.  It showed the B (bass note picked) D(own) U(p) pattern at the top and even indicated chord progression.

Re: Strumming Patterns for songs

Found it!  Here is an example of the song "Ripple" by the Dead.
