Topic: Music on tv

In trying to find things to dvr so I can watch them when working out I came across Sun Studio Sessions on PBS. In particular the Delta Blues Experience, 2 episodes. It was blues so you can't go wrong.

During that show there was an ad for Bluegrass Underground. Bluegrass isn't my thing, but the clincher is that these concerts are held in a cave 333 feet below ground. Cool idea, I'll have to watch an episode just to see what it's like.

Re: Music on tv

There's a cave in Virginia that is known for its resonance.  Someone built a pipe organ in it where some of the pipes are actual stalagtites.  Luray Cavern maybe.  You didn't happen to catch if that's the cave did you?

Bluegrass *is* my thing, and that just went into my bucket list.

Someday we'll win this thing...

That's a reasonable long weekend distance for me. Very cool. See you there Jerome.

For me that's a "I gotta make up a plausible excuse to head south" kind of trip.  Working on it, but I expect it involves Memphis and her uncle in Missouri.
