I think Ireland is the king in writing folk, like the clancy boys, dubliners,even sinead o'connor

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

I think a lot of people write some great folk songs in America folk music is the music of the people in any area of the globe I think the word folk derives from the German "Volk" as in Volkswagen meaning "car for the people" smile

Of all the folk traditions, I think the Irish are the most entertaining, that's for sure.  There are drinking songs,  "I'm about to get hung" songs, "My woman left me" songs, and more drinking songs.

We are working up a rendition of Seven Drunken Nights right now.

As I came home on a Monday night, as drunk as drunk could beeeee!
