Re: feeling melancholy !

I remembered that song right away. And I grew up in the 70s. If you want a beatles song that is hard to remember, how about "Theres A Place"

Re: feeling melancholy !

i recognised it right off. what a great song, and such a swine to sing! it's kind of quiet, then just as your nodding off, it screams at you, then goes quiet again. Beatles fan since "My Bonnie" only ever played once on Radio Luxembourg, and i heard it, what a great day that was!

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: feeling melancholy !

Yep I remember the song well as well as Theres a Place. I was in Germany when the Beatles hit and sometimes a song is a hit in Europe, but not the states.

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: feeling melancholy !

My one musical regret was not getting to see the Beatles , i remember them being on at the Odeon cinema in Birmingham but i was just that bit too young, probably wouldn`t have heard anything above all the screams but would be a good yes I was there boast !!

Nope, didn't get to see them.  Adult clubs in Europe are fair game.
